No pun intended…but suckers are special this time of year on Otter Tail! Whether it be longlining a lindy rig or jiggin’ in the weeds, you’re going to catch fish! Water temps are now at 62 and should slowly drop given the 10-day forecast. We caught fish on Monday on both the deep and shallow side of the weedlines using small/medium suckers. Big Northern’s are also on the chew as we boated a 36″ gator on Monday as well. Lot’s of action this time of year. If perch are your thing, the true jumbo’s should be back on the shallow flats as I type this.
