    STAYING AT OLD TOWN RESORT TOWARDS END OF JULY, ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHATS BITING BEST THAT TIME OF YEAR. I ALSO HEARD OF A 51″ MUSKIE CAUGHT LAST WEEK YET THERES NO DNR MUSKIE STOCKING INFO.

    Welcome to the site smoker… As for the bite, probably a little bit of everything. Lots of pannies in the lake as well as bass, northern and walleye. As for the muskies, probably one of the best kept secret muskie lakes in the area….

    Find the rock piles and anchor up. Throwing grubs we caught smallies, northerns and walleye along with nice crappies. No need to cruise the lake once you find the rocks.
