I will be coming up next weekend for the first time in over 10 years. We will be going out of Rogers where my buddy keeps his house, Im looking for any advise on lure selection, color, etc. I hear its been a bit slow and just want to put the odds in my favor.

    Any help is appreciated!

Read the post I just made and let us know how you do.
Glow red has been talked about a lot this year. Constantly jigging and watching your bobber. No distractions, cards radio, shelter just you and a bucket for a seat.Away from the house. I like genze worms,or any of the northland forage minnows or buckshots tipped with a minnow. make sure you give us a report,

It was slow as expected, I caught the first fish about an hour after getting set up, it was a throw back! Saturday morning my buddy got a 29in Northern, and one keeper sized Perch, I missed a fish, no walleyes until Saturday night he got one for the box! Sunday morning we got 2 keeper walleyes, and called it a weekend!
