On my way to LOW next week and was considering stopping at Red to try for some crappies on Thursday afternoon/evening. Is it worth my time to stop? How the heck do I go about trying to find em’? RR

Ok boys put away your guns and let’s talk fishing.

Augers holes until your auger is out of gas in the deeper regions of Upper Red Lake…that is still on this side of the line. Basically what you are doing is targeting a migrating or staging fish that is coming from the deeper water on the westerns side and slowly making its way to the shallow spawning grounds on the eastern side.
