    Yes there is, but not anywhere near the numbers like they were prior to the walleye come back.

    Man was that trip awesome! It got so hot n heavy we were fishing 2 people out of one hole, nothing in the hole two feet over. Wonder if we will see that again…….

    The crappies are still very abundant in Red Lake! We(4 of us)caught our limit last weekend in two hours. Biggest was a monster 16″ and the rest were all in the 14″ range!

    OK, the above post is total bull_ _it!!! I had you all thinkin’, “Wonder where they were fishing?” didn’t I???

    I know, I know, what an !!

    I had to get the blood pumpin’ for some of you!!

    I won’t be up there until New Year’s weekend. Hopefully a few of those slabs will present themselves for us then!!!

    Those days were fun however they are pretty much over.Walleyes and Crappies dont co habitate well as they eat each other.You will have one or the other.Much like Mille Lacs there will always be a few but most get eaten before they get a chance to grow.It would be interesting to know if there are any numbers of them left in Lower Red however Im not going to go and find out.I know people catch them in the river outside of the reservation as they get washed over the dam in high water.Heres some from the good ol days.
