Spearing SEASON HAS BEEN OPEN SINCE nOVEMBER 15TH
ITS IN the St Cloud times paper Nov 30
the info says;
traditionaly, the spearing opens Dec 1 but this year it opened Nov 15 and not a lot of peopple knew about it.
if you open the reg book the date says Dec 1
go to the DNR website and thats where its posted for Nov 15
opening the spearing early wasnt impemented. the knew date was proposed and passed during this springs legislative session, after the book was printed
my ? is where the heck do you find solid ice in mid Nov?, guess open rivers and from shore!!!!
