well things have sure been quite lately and i myself have been busy doing little things at or Duck Inn near The big pond while the hip heals
most reports have all been the same lately as most of us know–yup you can go any where, catch some, eat them, sleep well and kick back to do just summer things;
at Red the 3 limit of eyes isnt getting much pressure from fisherman or women and its a real possibility the 3 limit will continue through the up coming ice season
as far as crappies–this is just my gut feeling– there are some hanging around the 4 ft edge but the real rush for spawning is almost done-(i hated to say done) but if you catch some you may be surprised at there color change after spawning–they turn Black and look kinda skinny–thats why there black crappies after spawning–
i was told and its very believeable;; almost all fish go to deeper water and just lay there for a week or two to get rested up before feeding;;
kinda sounds like the the male -humam version-
