if I remember right- Dec 27 we moved out on red with all the houses to 3 miles on 16 inches of careful ice, crossing the ice break, very little ice and the lake was broke up several times before that- all the winds covered rough ice and slush was under every drift if not rough ice was so bad it would cut your tires– BANKED THE HOUSE’S FROM A 1/8 MILE AWAY TO FIND SNOW- it was in the 20’s above–Jan 2 and 3 it rained for 2 days and 2 nights–about 1-2 inches- no snow anywhere, couldnt drive a straight course in you wanted to, crap no one knew if you had to many and fell or it was just plain icy till they did the same fall- I wore ice cleats for 2 weeks before the weather broke and went to below 0 and the snow came with 35 mile an hour winds, buring everything in site, and causing house’s to sink, move, move,— sometimes twice a day-

my advise is dont leave your houses out for a couple days at a time yet- and watch your truck or atv closely– they will tell you whats going on if slush comes in– they weigh 450-2000 pounds- scratch a patch of snow away from them and keep an eye on it- your looking for the ice to settle and water seaping into it

I think the term is if your skin is starting to crawl or
the hair on the back of your neck stands up, or you get that feeling in your gut somethings wrong or could be–soon

GRAB YOUR STUFF AND GET OUT OF THERE!!!!!!!!!!

ME AND jUDY ARE GOING OUT AROUND THE FIRST- VERY CAREFULL
