    We are still picking up walleyes anywhere from 7-8 FoW, seems like if you go out to far the fish just aren’t as active as they are a little closer to shore. Jigging demons or hammered gold pimples tipped with a fathead has been doing well,we dont have shiners up here yet so if you can get them I’d bring them with you. The 3 guys that stayed in one of our cabins caught 4 pike yesterday with one a little under forty being the biggest. Suckers and smelt hung beneath a tip-up about a foot off the bottom has been the ticket, anywhere from 4-6 FoW will produce fish. There is still 4-6 inches of ice, but I’d still play it careful. We also have about 3-6 inches of snow covering the ice now as well which is causing a lot of slush pockets. If it works this is the pic of the 45 and a 1/4” pike that I caught, my first fish of the hard water season.
