    Are their any resorts to stay at on the lake yet? I have seen some that are “Near”.. but we would like to stay on the lake 2nd weekend of opener next year.. any suggestions?

    Have not heard anything yet but http://www.drakemotel.com will put you close to more good fishing besides Red. And the cost is right! Check it out. This place is worth the short drive to the lake!

    Thanks to both of you for the advice!! going to try westwind this year!! seems to be what we are looking for.. want to be on the lake, and not have to load/unload the boats daily, etc!!! We have my 93 year old grandfather w/ us that weekend, and the fewer times in/out of cars and boats the better!!

    If anyone knows of anything else for the future LMK as well!
