The ice fishing season is not over yet. Today the lake is looking awesome. A fresh coating of snow is covering the ice. Colder temps the last couple of nights has helped the ice freeze up some and it’s lookin’ good. I drove my ATV out yesterday with no problems. Atv’s will work but a snowmobile will be better for getting over the pressure ridge. The walleye’s have moved in closer to the shore line and the crappies are still out there waiting for you. The lake has not been fished very hard and with a little work you should do very well. The later in the year the better and I don’t know how much later we will be out there, so don’t wast too much time. Good luck !!!!!!!

APRWe took the snowmobiles out on Monday and fished for most of the day untill sun down. 2 crappies, 5 perch, and I can’t even count how many walleyes. Virtually every hole I drilled caught at least one fish, and I drilled alot of holes. We fished North, South, East, and West but could not get into the crappies. This morning was the same thing, lots of walleye but no crappies. Tomorrow is another day. The fish are there, some one just needs to be in the right place at the right time. The ice conditions are great now, but I’m sure will get a little wet after the warm weather shoots through this weekend. Good Luck!!!!
