just want to ask a couple ?s
how many of you may stop in to see me on the lake and listen to my stories and info- 3 months on ice I get kind of goofy
OH heck I already forgot the second ?– the triangle is all ready getting a choke hold on me as it is with Judy-she just caught a big crappie in her dreams last night.
when I refur to the traingle – I mean like the Bermuda triangle but only on Red Lake does it effect you- things happen, you get lost, disorientd, loose something down the hole, your auger freezes in a hole over night, you forgot your license you just bought, you drive over your best buddies auger because you didnt see it, you unload your stuff and notice no one packed the beer or rods, the buger buns are crumbs now, the depth finder is there but no battery or charger- its at home doing well-you get stuck coming back from the bar driving a straight road, now that your stuck wheres the shovel and jackets?, you loose track of time and never sleep, you ask your buddy why he brought the stupid alarm clock? and dont get an answer!!! you enter a house sit down and start yaking only to find out your in someone elses house for the past hour- WELCOME TO THE RED LAKE TRIANGLE

I think somebody’s gotten into the hot-buttered rums before Christmas?!?

keep those comments coming- I will use them on my resume next year next year when Judge Judy (my wife) gets me into her chambers and I have to explain everything “Again” “”that I said and done”” Im president and she is vice president but in a court of law under her she trys to be fair (burp) MAN I thought justice is fair but not while im doing dishes, cleaning the house, making supper most of the summer for my bad behavior all winter- shes still my girl-she even said she still kind of likes me as she out fishes me —-the SAGA continues as Days of our Lives and as The World Spins–

I really need my fix- crappies, eyes, place me on the lake and turn me loose cause im loosing it sitting here- after tommorrow were heading up Sunday morning for a couple days to get organised, then back home for a couple days and back up there for 3 months of sure pleasure and fun

ya Desperato- you should know-you have been with me the last 2 years- I never once saw you go back without a smile on your face or your boys and the lady last year-its an experience right? when I say theres slush over there and theres deep snow out there You know that Im pretty up todate with advise and our houses and service cant be beat-see you on the ice soon just bring sharp auger bits this time-for those of you that need to see my real face after 3 months check out Beavers Crappie bed in this form below- Im the short one

slush, snow drifts, auger bits, tow straps,
and almost anything else you can imagine,
plus a few things you’d never imagine in a million years until ya find yourself smack dab in the middle of ’em

They’re each just a small part of dealing with the triangle

Despite all that, Russ is right; ya never leave without a smile on your face. And … no matter what the triangle smacked ya with this time, as soon as ya get home; yer just hankerin to go back fer more.

Seven story building and the elevator only goes to the 5th floor
I’ll be on Red the weekend of the 6th. Where will you be on the lake Russ? I’ll try and make a trip over to meet you.

WW-Im still in the basement of that tall building and dont know how I got there??-elevator? whats that?- Ill be out of Westwind somewhere between 1 to 2 miles still standing there all alone looking lost again my plan of attack is leaving Avon Friday morning 1/2 packed, forgetting some things,getting there and get things ready,BATTERIES CHARGED, PROPANE TANKS FILLED, augers started, find my stuff and pack my house for 3 months living on the lake in it, check out a couple spots on the lake-check out Westwinds bar and see if I still recognize my spot yet, get to the cabin for a can of Dinty Moore, catch a few winks and start pulling houses Saturday morning about 10-that takes most of the day- Judy shoud be up there by 1 so we will pop a couple holes and fish till 9- Sunday I will tell Judy about all my sore and stiff muscles (most of the morning)- then head for the lake to evaluate our spot and do some visting-now this is still my thoughts, fishing is still great in the 8-12 ft area for eyes and gators and perch, the crappies are still scattered and everyones going out for them – me I wont move out till I can get to 3 1/2 miles to start the crappie hunt seriously but we keep those buggers on our mind daily as where there at; as of today there still recommending no 1 ton trucks- the ice is 15″ but near drifts and rough ice its 12 or less

I’ve never worried too much about whether my elevator will make it too the top of the building
BECAUSE
I’ve always been more concerned with the question of “will my auger make to the bottom of the ice?”
