have you ever heard the “myth about eyes loosing there teeth–“Iv heard that eyes never loose there teeth ” BUT also heard=== they rebuid there teeth as they grow older, not loosing them but a very fine tip on the top of the old tooth falls off when the tooth is full grown-its so fine and worn out no one sees it before it falls off and the new tooth takes over- myth or truth??

Good question. A fews years back, I used to fish a central Minn. lake quite a few days a month. Around Aug. the bite would slow down. When we did catch eyes their mouths would be bloody. The locals claimed they were losing their teeth.I nevr did do any research on this.

Never heard of Walleye losing teeth

My Grandpa used to tell me nortons lose there teeth, I remember spearing with him in the 70’s and he would show me the nortons mouth and sometimes there was alot of teeth missing but still enough to do some damage if he gets your finger.
Yes I know I spelled northern, norton that is what Gramps called northerns.

now hear is a thought to think on- why do bucks loose there horns at a certain time during the year- no they dont loose them both at once (right)? do some fish during the build up before spawning loose there teeth so they cant injure or kill one of there own kind to keep the females and some males alive to continue the cycle of spawn and eggs? and yes eyes get sore gums but dont loose there teeth, there new teeth are pushing up and touchy–kind of like the kids teething- cranky-ornery–
what do you think of that conclusion???

Hey slipsinker those gators I dont want to catch in my houses- just look at the slim they leave behind and you have to drop your minnow and lure back down that same hole as all that slim settles to the bottom covering your bait and lure- crap you can smell those gators in the house but fish below can smell that scent for a long time if its a gator–they want no part of it- how does that go;;; fish feel vibs first—2nd they smell– 3rd they use eye site– 4th they bite if all above are within there resoning

I think the jury is still out on this one, Russ. You might be on to something, I don’t know.
