About 450 yards out there is a huge built up pile of ice about 30 yards wide in some spots and up to five feet high. It doesn’t look to good out there right now, and I’m not sure how the ice is beyond the build up, but before the build up theres a good 8 inches of ice, which at its furthest point is probably in about 7 FoW. I fished tonight for only about an hour in search of a eye or two, which would hopefully be under the slot and into my pan later and ended up with my two but were both too big and had to go back .I caught them both on a swedish pimple tipped with a minnow.
