I have booked a week in June at the Voyageur Cove
Resort on the west end of Lake Vermillion. Has anyone on this board ever fished out of that resort? Just wondered how the accomodations are. I am hoping that end of the lake will produce some nice smallies. Any info would be appreciated.

The west end of the lake has some excellent bass

fishing for both small and largemouth bass.

Spinnerbaits and cranks work well as search baits

but the best action day in day out, will be on plastics.

Tubes, craws, grubs, lizards, worms and just about any plastic configuration will take fish.

Crawfish color patterns work great but they are not the only option. White, firetiger, chart and

flo/green are some of my favorites.

Voraguer Cove isn’t one of my favorite places but you may find it to your liking. It has just the bare essentials but it has a great location.

Aceman, thanks for the info. We have two boats and four guys. Just looking for a comfortable bed, shower and safe docking for the boats. We will be there 6/7 thru 6/14 hope the bite is good that time of year. Oh, yeah and we let em all go.

    Hey Brian,
I wouldn’t worry about the bite, 4 guys fishing hard for a week should be able to catch 100’s of smallies. There will be fish everywhere and most will be ready to bite.
