We are headed up to Red Lake Labor Day weekend and I was just wondering if anyone has any recent reports from the big lake?

Fish, i wasnt with, but i did see the pics and talk to my niece who was there last week.
She and a friend were fishing mostly for northern, trolling big Rapalas adn Husky jerks. Lots of small to medium pike, her best was on Thursday- 39.5″, figures around 16-18#’s. Fished out from the river.
walleyes were a bit slow ( I think they werent trying real hard) out around the cribs.
