The ice is getting good and so is the fishing. I’m hearing limits for most of the few who’ve gone out. In talking with my friend Danny at Outdoor Authority he had a group out yesterday who put 30 eyes on the ice. Right now because of the wind blowing ice around before it froze the thickness varies from about 3-9″. I personally wouldn’t go out with an ATVs yet, but the ice is getting better every day so bring it along if you head up. I also know at Rogers they’re letting Danny rent out his shacks on shore for overnight stays until they get them on the lake… $25 per person per night. Also all of the outfitters are very helpful giving a lift out to the breadline as soon as ATV travel is permitted so don’t worry if you don’t have one, feel free to show up and talk to one of the outfitters right there at the resort.
