FIRST TRIP TO RED LAKE

    We got up there around 1:30am on sun morning.fished till 3:30 then got a couple of hours of sleep.7:45 the first rattle reel went off and it was game on.four of us jigging and i had the hot hand pulling in 5 of the first 6 fish.we marked fish all day but only ended up with about 25 fish.

    we had 12 keepers when we went to bed and at 12:45,1:15 and 1:25 the wheels went off and we got to take our limit home.fun trip for all of us.the hot lure was a green and black striped wobbler by laker lures in the prior lake bait and tackle.

    Great post. Im on my way up there now. How much ice did you have?

    They are driving full sized pick-ups out. We had 12-16 on Saturday when we were up there. Report from 12/22 will be coming tonight or tomorrow night

    We had 16″ and a 20ft wheel house.

    got back from trip 26th-30th, absolute blast, we just hammered fish all trip long, day bite, night bite, u name it. 40″ pike on tip up, dozen eyes over 20″
