Long Point to Garden

    With all the breakers on the lake, does anybody know the easiest way to get around them. We will be staying at Long Point and would like to get out to Garden Island. We will be on sleds.

    Just keep that A-Cat under 80 U will make it just fine

    Mark your trail with a gps so you can come back the same way. The breakers may move and change throughout the day, but you’ll be ok with a sled. Haven’t been across myself, but I have talked to some folks that have. You could also run east and get on the staked snowmobile trail that comes over Pine Island and go that way…..lot of extra miles though coming from Long Point.
