LOTW Blow Day Options???

A week from now I’ll be at Arnesen’s Rocky Point for a week of chasing Big Traverse / Muskeg Bay ‘Eyes and some Pike.

I shouldn’t have any trouble getting that bite dialed in so long as the wind doesn’t blow too bad, having a good friend who is a launch caption at Rocky Point. If you frequent that neck of LOTW you might know him as WINGNUT. Since I’m running an older 17′ Lund Pro V, a blow day or two is likely and I’m wondering about other options if I put the trailer to use. Thinking west side of Rainy Lake might be the closest / best option but have never been there. Any tips out there?

Why not give the Rainy River a try if it’s too windy?
