Great report. I have done the sleeper trick out of Sportman’s twice and had a great time each time out. We did tend to catch many small fish, but brought home limits both times. That last walleye sure has a big belly.

We have never had a night bite up there. Did you?

There is no such thing as a night bite on OLTW as far as I know.

No,there is no night bite and my poles are cased.I thought the ride in the bommer was just fine.Sheri and the boy’s were great. I don’t have a bad thing to say at all about my weekend. In fact we signed up for the same place same time next year.

Have been heading their way the past few years and have always had a great time. Looking forward to another great stay!

Don’t say there is no night bite. We caught a couple nice walleyes after 7:00 pm last weekend. It certainly shuts down, and some will think it is not worth it, but you can sometimes entice an ‘eye to bite if you’re jigging at night. Something to think about if you are in a sleeper. They are usually nicer ‘eyes too.

Machine is right, we were in a sleeper last feb, set up in 17 feet of water. we had walleyes biting very good until 730, with our last walleye of the night coming at 930. so it can happen.
