Report from the past weekend

    We took the wheelers 20 miles north targeting walleye since the river wasn’t showing any promise, yet!

    Found some good schools at 30 FOW and they were biting on anything! also found a couple perch and a few eelpout too….nothing like one of those to get your heart pumping until it gets to the hole

    Limited out both days and had no problem doing so. All nice eaters

    Man… here’s going to be ice on LOTW for some time yet with all that SNOW out there.

    WOW!!!..still ice fishing..it snowed here today and was gone by 2:00PM….great looking eyes.. .. I’m looking forward to hitting open water soon for some eyes..

    no extensions are needed for the auger but the whole lake is snow. We only came across a couple slushy spots in 20-25 miles. We even saw pick-ups out where we were…although I would advise against that.

    The pic shown is from the limit on Friday. Saturday we had one more guy and still managed a limit with no problems at all.
