So how has the bite been? Im going up friday morning and fishing saturday and sunday. We’re staying at sportmans. So any pointers on what’s been going on as of late? I have my fish trap and plan on heading out Adrian’s road. We may fish out of a resort house if we can swing it financially. Either way, I’m looking for lure hints, bait(live, frozen, plastic??!!!) and depths.. Thanks boys and enjoy the rest of the hard water season.
I was fishing the reefs up by the Northwest Angle last Thursday/Friday and fishing was real good. Our houses are located by Long Point and it was so so in them this past weekend. One day you get a nice pail of fish and the next day only a few. Last week there wasn’t really a hot lure but my choice would be a buckshot/stop sign and then anything gold for sure. We have been working mainly the 23-29ft depths where we are. I am not sure where Sportsmans has there houses this year but I am sure they are on some fish. It sounds like there is alot of water/slush in places so watch where you travel.
