    Fellow Anglers,

The sun and rising temps are more than welcome here in borderland. Please bring back “Global Warming”. We’re tired of burning wood!! As we patiently await the upcoming crappie spawn we’ve been getting out fishing some Rainy River walleyes. Have you ever noticed that “Something different” seems to trigger a couple extra pops? Turn a few fish, and then use a different color, shape, size, artificial… Often times this WILL give you a few extra bites. Fishing has been awesome as always. Some big fish and lots of nice 15-19 inch fish for shorelunch! Yep we eat fish up here!! Grouse Too! I guess we’re Old Fashioned! LOL! Oh By the way why aren’t you up here Fishing yet…. Here’s a couple big ones that DIDN”T Get AWAY!! Lent themselves to a nice digital for all to enjoy, and are let go anxiously awaiting your arrival!! If the Big Guy in Flannels fish looks larger than mine it MIGHT be an optical illusion as rumor has it his day job has him posing as the Voyageur standing alongside the road in Ranier! LOL! Actually his amazingly foolish fish went 27 3/4 while my incredibly smart fish who obviously is very picky in selecting jigs to tangle with went a BULKY 26 5/16.

    Good Fishing Boys!
