A friend and I went up Sun. & Mon. brrrr. The fish were biting on Sunday pretty good with both of us catching a few keeper walleyes and some decent sauger. We also each caught a jumbo perch. We had a great fish fry on the lake, and then Mon. we ended up with enough to bring some home. Only one 5 lb. pout this trip. the fish seemed to bite best in the mourning hours & pretty much shut down after about 3 P.M. with only one rattle reel moving both nights, missed it. We were in a sleeper in about 33 ft. of water about 8 miles out from RiverBend Resort.
