It was are anual boys trip to LOW! As usual it was a blast. This year we were blessed with balmy tempetures to go along with some great fishing action. We started Friday the 11th out of Long Point resort and headed toward Twin Island. We fished in 30ft of water and it took a bit for the bite to happen but when it turned on it didnt take long. We had an ample pile to eat by just past noon. We did alot of catch and release after that. Lots of small fish to catch also! As the traffic picked up on Saturday and Sunday the bite was slower but we ate fish again and headed home with limits. We didnt loose any big fish on this trip and the common size was between 12 and 17 inches. We were using quite a bit of different lure but some of the best were a rock-n-roll glow and orange or something gold and flashy. Deadsticks proved to be a killer on Saturday! It is weird how the days can change the lure selection drastically. A jigging Rap scared everything away on friday and on Sunday it was awesome!
