Lake of the Woods

Heading out on the big lake on Sunday. First time out on the lake. Has anybody been catching fish on spinner rigs? Were are not outfitted with downriggers. Was wondering if its possible to fish in the Rainy River this time of year if conditions get to windy. Will be fishing out of a 18 foot boat so it may be a problem. Thanks for any advice, have a good one.

I have a friend that just got back yesterday,they went out of arnisons,they did really well on lindy rigging,8′ snells with crawlers & leeches.biggest fish 32″averaging 26-45 fish a day.
