I was lucky enough to get invited along this weekend for my second trip to Lake of the Woods this year.

Someone said it very well…Sturgeon fishing is a once in a life time fishing experiance that can be repeated year after year.

Once you’ve hooked into one of these boys…you may never look at fishing the same way again!

If you’re up there this weekend and see a G3 on the water with a couple guys trying to keep their St Croix Rods in the boat say HI!

The service was wonderful last weekend!
A couple of our sturgeon had dnr tags on em, I have emailed the dnr fisheries office in baudette with the info but so far no reply. Does anybody know of another place or site to contact to report the info and retrieve the history on dnr tagged sturgeon? Thanks in advance!

Hey Brian… YES, Tom did make it back from vacation in one piece. However, he is out fishing again today!! They did have a great time. Now we are “gearing” up for the walleye opener on Saturday. Didn’t get to see you this weekend when you were here.. how did you guys do? I send many greetings from Lake of the Woods.. hope to see you again soon. Judy
