Hey guys,
We are planning a mid-March trip for 6-8 guys. I have fished the lake during the summer, but not the winter. Where would you suggest going if we were to bring our own wheelhouses and portables. Are there good roads out from the South Shore? Looking for any suggestions.

head to wheelers point I know that they normally have a road plowed there 
When you heading up?? I am going to be up with a group March 22-25.
Sportsman’s has their Mardi Gras party that Sat night…..let’s just say….it is a pretty good time. 
AND
The fishing is usually pretty good.
That sounds fun Buckshot, but unless we stay in our wheelhouses the only thing I’ve found available is mid-week.
