We fished the Lake today the Ice was nice and clear 10 to 12″ reported by Sportman’s Lodge guide.
The fishermen we’re getting there ice houses out in force though the road isn’t plowed. Most the fishermen were running Atv’s and Snowmobiles or 4×4’s vehicles. The temps were GREAT today 30’s. 
We started fishing just after 8am and had 2 fish in minutes. We limited out at noon. I hate to say the new digital camera was left in Iowa. We caught 5 15″ to 16″ Walleye and the Saugers were smaller around 12″ to 14″.
We didn’t see any Ice houses out on Upper Red Lake, we were hoping to try it out. We’ll hit the ice again tomorrow.
