Was out of Long Point last weekend, fishing was terrific! 5 of us caught Sauger, Perch, Tillibees, Pout, and Walleyes. Fished the same spot all 3 days 27′ of water in the mud.There is about 42″ of ice but it has lots of cracks and is slushy about half way down. All wheeler and snowmoble traffic only. There are so many small walleyes 6-7 inches long that in a couple of years it should even get better.
Lost track of the count but estimate around 500 fish total.
