    Has anybody been up to LOTW for muskies in the last 3-4 weeks? I am looking for a report on the fall muskie bite….I will be up there from Oct 7-11th. Saturday will not come soon enough!! Also, what is the best paper map for the East side of the lake?? The hotspots map is subpar, hoping to find something equivelent to a Lakemaster map….

    I hear the trolling bite is starting up. Get one of the canadian navigation charts — by far the best map. You can get them at thorne bros. Good luck on your trip!

    I should have known I was just at Thorne Bros stocking up on trolling baits and forgot to ask about the map… Are the maps easy to find once you cross the boarder?

    Sorry Mark;
    But for the safest bet, you are probably best off heading back to Thorne Bros for a map!

    Hey Mark,
    I think I might still have one of those maps (Canadian Hydrographic) from a couple years ago when I was up their. I can check tonight. I’ll let you or Fritzee know if I find it. It should be before 7:00 tonight. Man am I jealous of you guys.

    I’ve been looking for a paper copy of the map for ages … they stopped making them several years ago. If you guys have a paper copy, I’d be happy to trade you for the new waterproof paper version. I want them to frame for my office is all.

    P.S. Mark, be sure to put up a report when you get back!
