In-DepthAngling is very pleased to announce our newest sponsor >Wigwam Resort< on our Lake of the Woods!

    Quote:

Lake of the Woods – 65,000 miles of shoreline, 14,000 islands, over one million acres of pristine water, surrounded by thousands of acres of unspoiled wilderness forest, all topped off by the best walleye fishing in the Midwest! When you aren’t fishing there is plenty to do. In the summer there is hiking, canoeing or one of the local events that happen regularly in the community. Fall brings hunting for geese, bear & deer and winter you can go for miles on one of the many snowmobile trails through Beltrami State Forest. Or you can simply sit back and watch the world go by.

We cater to groups of up to 100. We will customize a package for you that fit your individual needs with a meeting facility, hunting, fishing, or what ever you need. Groups of 24 or more are eligible for group discounts or other incentives. As you navigate through our site, if you don’t see something you would like – give us a call and we will see what we can do to accommodate you.

Summer fishing on Lake of the Woods is second to none. From mid-June through mid-September – action happens in a variety of ways. From fishing the reefs to down rigging – BIG walleyes can be found.

Fish for trophy walleye, sauger, northern, and jumbo perch

    WOW!

This is the resort the Sturgeon Excursion was held at!

I met Cathy the manager and Tom the owner, they were VERY accomadating to our group of Sturgeon fishermen and women.

It’s great to have you on board…and it will be even better to hear what’s happening on that awesome fishery up there!

    PS How’s the bite!?

Hi, Guys sorry it took so long for me to reply. I had some technical difficulties. Any way, the fishing has been great. We had a couple fronts move through that slowed things a little but it’s right back up there now. Some are starting to down rig but for the most part people are fishing in 30-35 feet of water. Minnows and crawlers seem to be the way to go. It’s great to be on board with In-Depth. Talk to you soon.

I’m going to have to give you a ring soon…my favorite wife doesn’t like night time fishing…and I owe her some time…so…

It’s going to be a few days at Wigwam!

    Great news!

Welcome to the site and thank you for the support.

I have some great memories at the Wigwam.

I hope you don’t have security cameras and archive video footage from the dance floor.

It has been a couple of years since I was there……….But does the WigWam still have the “burger for a buck” night?
