IS IT TOO LATE????

    Would like to do some sturgeon fishing the second week of may. Is it too late in the year to do any good? Never fished for them before thinking of going to I-Falls. Any help and advice would be appreciated!!

    You might want to check them…I believe the season closed on May 8th.

    It does close May 8. Just checked after the post but thinking of getting up there maybe the 7 and 8th. Thanks for the heads up though that would not work too good fishing during the closed season

    Actually in following up…on page 45…

    you have until the 15th of May for catch and release only.

    Thanks for the info, unfortunately we are going to head up on the 17th so I will just have to wait for the season to open again. I will keep the number on hand though thank you. We have a cabin on Ash lake so looks like walleye and pike fishing is in the plans
