Heading up to Lake of the Woods Friday. Wonder if we might still have snow up there. Oi.

We’ll be going out of Morson for muskies and walleyes. We feel pretty confident on the muskies but are looking for some help on the walleyes. What to do? Rigging? Jigging? Slip bobbers?

I’m more of a bass guy, and my buddies are musky guys, so we just don’t know. Any help would be appreciated or even direction to someone’s local site that might have fishing reports.

with the water temps dropping, I would be jigging reefs with a minnow.

shinners are starting there run. the river is getting realy hot!!!!! If on the lake best bet is the shinners. all the fish we have been catching are full of shinners. dont have a computer any more so hope you get this in time. chec with new bait shop in baudet. He is real helpful he new so he is trying real hard for the biz. we have been here about 4 months and realy love it up here. the gap is always a good spot to try for the walters. gold the best color for the spinners. depending on the wind , more wind more weight we usualy start around a half ounce. Have fun and good fishing
