The bite has been fair but steady. Most people are getting plenty of fish to be satisfied with the trip. But, I don’t think I would call the bite hot.

Randall’s is out on Wheelers point, and then to the West by Cyrus and a few other resorts. You will be going out of Bostic Creek and then from Morris Point. Most places on the lake have very good accomidations. When are you going?

The use of a flasher, particularly later in the season, is very important as many of your walleyes will come under you suspended. Without a flasher it’s nearly impossible to even know they’re there. when I’ve been up there mid-late winter nearly all of our better fish came riding up high suspended while the smaller saugers and perch came within a foot or so of the bottom.

If it’s possible beg, borrow or buy a flasher for your trip.

Get a Vexilar or something similar!

Rapalas Balanced Jig have accounted for 75% of our bigget 25″-30″ fish. Size W3, W5, or W7 are fine. Alot of the time they seem to prefer to the W3 or W5. Color: glow, silver fluorscent chartruse, or perch.
