4 mile bay

I am heading to the Rainy River with some friends on Mon. the 12th for a week. I am familiar with the river, but we would like to trailer down to the lake and fish around 4 mile bay. I’ve never fished there before and would appreciate any info about where to put in and where to find some fish. Thank you for any help.

There is a public boat ramp within a 3 wood south of Wheeler’s Point resort. That is less than a mile from the 4 mile bay outlet.
In the past I’ve heard all you need is a jig and minnow in the bay.

Thanks Jack. I appreciate the advice. It’s good to get advice from one of the guys who know what they’re talking about. My 3 wood is not what it used to be, but we’ll find our way. Thanks again….
