    Great job guys

I can’t wait for the full report after the trip. I would like to know the tackle required for these beasts.

“15 fish 50 or better” in one day? That is putting over 750lbs of fish in the boat, in one day! Wow that is amazing!

I am guessing your wrists are sore from reeling them in, and your backs are sore from lifting all that weight. Sounds like good problems to have.

Thanks for sharing! Keep up the great work.

Back in town now. Fun week of fishing. We didnt tear them up every day but did get a lot of nice fish. That fishing on Wednesday had us giggling like school girls with one big fish after the other coming in.

Lots of crawlers was the bait of choice. 3 to 4 on a hook. Maybe tipped with a fat head.

Heavy gear. Min 30# test line. We fished up to 80#. Something in the 50 to 60# range is perfect. To light of line doesnt allow you to move a fish when needed. You also risk a cut line as those fish love to roll and get all tangled up in the line.

For rods it was heavy catfish rods. No more of the MH bass rods for me after this trip. Those heavy bass rods have the back bone but end up really lacking when trying to fight the fish.

Good luck to all the guys that are up there right now. Lots of boats started showing up Thursday afternoon.

Will try to get some more photos and video up later today.

Lots of lamprey on the fish this trip. I would guess at least half had either marks, 1 lamprey or more on them. Some real trophy lamps to.

Here is Jon hauling in a nice sturgeon that decided to tail hook its self and then play possum about a 100′ behind the boat.
