    The Baudette Motel offers a decent room at an economical rate. Not really over the top on service but I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. I don’t have any experience with any of the other independent motels in town.

    I would suggest staying at the Royal Dutchman. Nice young couple that bought it a couple of years ago. They are one of very few that give honest reports on the ice conditions and the bite for the spring Rainy River season. It would be nice to see them there for years to come.

    Thank you so much! We love it here and love giving reports and taking pictures when the ice is going off the river to keep everyone updated
