10 day forecast doesn’t look good. Doesn’t look like they’ll break freezing temps til after the 21st.

I would be surprised if a ramp is open before April 8. Hope I’m wrong, and their weather turns HOT, soon.

I know plenty of people who have camped in past years. Some years wouldn’t be so bad, others would definitely suck. Last year there was snow in the boat while out a few days.

We have had a few nice days and tomorrow we are suppose to be in the 30s and the snow is melting around the buildings and we will be checking River Conditions in the near future as long as the weather stays nice and things keep melting. I just checked and last year we started checking it March 11, 2013 and found open water east of Birchdale a ways. Grant and I were talking about checking the River Conditions soon and we are just as excited as everyone else and enjoy documenting where it is everyday! Here’s to hoping for warm weather and that the river starts opening up soon!

I just wanted to let everyone know that we are going on Sunday to check the River Conditions and will post information and pictures of what we see! Yesterday I saw it was up to 56 degrees and now today it is in the 20s and windy. Hoping those low temperatures for night that are below zero change so spring can come faster for everyone!
