Who is going to “Man Up?” LOW ice fishing contest!

So it’s been a little cold lately! Big deal! On Saturday, February 15th, the Warroad Chamber of Commerce will be holding their annual ice fishing contest out at Springsteel Island! The C of C really step’s up to the plate with the amount of prize’s they are offering! Included are a 16′ Ice Castle and an Arctic Cat ATV, just to name the biggie’s! There are so many prize’s being offered that I can’t begin to name all of them! If you catch the biggest walleye you will win a cool $1000.00! I haven’t seen the weather forecast yet for the 15th. No doubt it will be colder than the proverbial cojone’s of a brass monkey! Rumor has it that BrianK won’t be attending, the wuss! That will just leave more for us REAL men who will still be attending, even if it get’s a little chilly! Right BK? Of course, right! DIRTBALL2

After spending all day today out on the ice hole hoping I would be up for it. At a balmy 1 degree and light 10 mph winds it wasnt to bad out. The couple times a slight chill set in I just thought of James trout fishing show this morning. Would be all over that contest if it wasnt 4 hrs away.

Cold is a state of mind.
