Heasded up Feb 14th for a few days and staying in a sleeper out of Wigwam.
Will a normal auger be sufficient or will we need an extension? We don’t own one so it would take a litte effort to track one down.
Thought it would be best to ask. That would put a little downer on the trip if we got there and couldn’t get through the ice. 
Just buy or make one. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it…….

Track down an extension and buy it. This year I wouldn’t be surprised if you need an 18″ extension. Then once you have it, always bring it with after January.
If I remember correctly, Marine General has historically been one to have these available late in the year.
Call you resort prior to arriving they will be able to answer that for you.
Yes….a simple answer. We are up in the NWA and Holst burried his Solo to the muffler. Give it a few weeks and you’d be in trouble without one.
Yes I was just up there last weekend, to close not to have it on, saves your back to!!
