The road remains to be in good condition. Last night just before dark the pressure ridge blew up. We had a lot of cars backed up until we got the bridge back into place. Everyone made it off okay. The bridge is in 3 feet of water just over pine island. I have not had a chance to check any more ice depths but Brian from Lake Road Lodge checked the road in the bay today with a 20 inch chain saw and could not get through. We are going to have a 60 degree temperature change from yesterday till tonight. Everybody should be very cautious for the next 24 hours no matter what lake or where you are fishing. The ice will have to shrink from the temperature change causing cracks to open and there may be cracks on some of the roads. Please pay close attention to the ice in front of you while you are driving. The resorts will try to keep an eye on the roads and mark any bad spots but this time of year the ice conditions can change fast. Everybody stay safe and use extra caution. Good luck fishing!
