    Wow, looks like a great day. We are heading up Thursday. Any tips for a novice to sturgeon fishing? Thanks.

    Use a weight that keeps your bait on the bottom I had a 3oz on the key is from the weight to the hook leader short about 12″ and four to five crawlers.

    I had no problem using 1.5 oz weight. That 50-58″ year class seems very strong. Hopefully that means some really good years to come.
