5 of us headed out of Springsteel Resort to chase some large pike. We had roughly 20-25 flags with 10 nice fish being caught. Biggest was 43.25″ by 21″ girth. 6-9 fow on a breakline close to typical pike spawning areas. Bigtooth Tackle Quick-Strike Rigs tipped with herring did the trick. Everyone in the group caught a nice fish so mission accomplished! So yes there are still people fishing the lake. O and there was 42+ inches of ice with about a foot of snow still.

Wow, I’m jealous for a few reasons. Wish I could be on 42″ of ice at any point in my season down here. Those fish are almost as big as the girls. Congrats on the success!
