    Just wodering what the bite is doing up on LOTW?
    Anyone have any reports to share?

    We are heading back up to Mead’s Spruce Island Camp Resort
    in middle of June this year once again. We had a heck of a year last year there and we are all looking forward to some excellent fishing for all species.

    Mead’s Spruce Island Camp

    Our deepest water we caught walleyes all week last year was about 6 feet. When you found weeds mixed with rock… you found walleyes in just about every bay, island, shoreline, etc…

    Steve;

    Let me know how you did. We are going June 19th to the 25th. Mostly will be chasing muskies.

    We are staying at the Angle.

    I fished Zipple Bay last weekend on Friday and caught some walleye and sauger. They seemed to like minnows with the water temp being so low, caught one on a leech. Fireball jigheads and gold spinners from 20 – 15 ft of water seemed to be the best depth. Saturday was really windy and we couldn’t make it out on the main lake. Oh well, that’s fishing.

    Thanks Ryan for the report.
    What was the water temperature where you were?

    The surface temp on the depth finder was in the lower fifties. A drift sock helped the bite on the spinners.
