A group of 4 of us just booked a cabin at Wigwam resort for operner 5/10 – 5/12. None of us are really familar with this lake and want to know the best way to get the most out of the weekend. Were leaning more towards doing a guide service rather than hauling my boat all the way from the cities. Any suggestions on a good daily guide service to use?
If you don’t have a big (19+ feet) boat, it can get a little rough on the big lake. My recommendation is to book a trip with Tom, Kevin, or Billy at the Wigwam. They’ll find fish and make sure you have a limit.
I would think Wigwam has a package deal that would include your stay and charter fishing with them, I would look into that first, If u need more assistance let me know I could get u a good base on spots to fish if u bring your own boat up there.
