Made it out to LOW on a quick trip as I finally had some days off in a row. Reports had me worried and the fishing was not great, but we managed to get some fish for the box and had fun doing it. I kept hearing how fishing after dark is a waste of time, we had a sleeper so I had nothing but time; all of my slot fish were caught in darkness as well as a couple 17s I was able to keep, all were walleye for what it’s worth. I am used to catching walleyes at night so that didn’t surprise me as much as the fact that they were all very much suspended over 30′ of water. I have been trying to get a couple pics up for the last half hour and gave up. . Damn computer machine. The fish were really active for periods of time then they went dormant for stretches as well, but I marked fish the majority of our time out there, tulips kept us busy as well so it was cool. We ended up with 20 keepers mostly sauger sans the couple bigger fish mentioned earlier. We were out of zippel bay resort.
