I am driving up in my SUV with 4 wheel drive and plan on sleeping in my portable overnight.

What resorts have a good road system that would work for me? I’m thinking Adrians at the moment.

From everything I’ve been reading and been told, the reefs is where you want to be, and only road I know remotely close is out of Bablers (further West).
See attached ealier report here in IDO

Sounds to me like mud basin is still pretty slow and probably will be until things start heading for River.
I have not been there so this I’m only passing on what I’ve heard and read.

I just got back from LOTW yesterday we fished 2.5 days out of Adrain’s houses 13 miles out on they’re road. The fishing was good not great I think I probably got between 50-60 fish each day. I did notice in the cleaning shack that I did better than most guys though. When asking everybody what they were using it made perfect sense to me. They were all using fatheads and I was using huge rainbows and shiners while the fatheads I dropped down never got bit.
My advise would be to stop in waskish at hillmans to pickup shiners (none of the bait places in baudette had them) then stop at border bait right before Adrain’s and ask for the biggest rainbows they have. Red stop sings and gold flyer spoons were my best jigging bait and the red glass jig worked best on my dead stick.

Yeah I was pretty surprised with how well we did with all the bad reports I’ve read. Man I hate those stupid stop sings but for some reason unknown to me LOTW fish love them. Lol

Great report. Just the kind of information I was looking for.
