Approximately where are the troubled areas or “last open water” areas that are limiting 1/2 ton truck traffic out of adrian’s road.

Are there thin areas randomly or did the sheet freeze and reopen and freeze again causing a larger area of thinner ice.

Just curious, I am not questioning the resort owners or anything like that, it is important to ensure everyone’s safety first.

I’ll be heading up for new years and am just curious as to what areas are to be avoided, as we’l be probably using Cyrus’ road and will be obviously checking with them conerning any troubled areas.

Thanks for any info regarding this topic.

Today in the bay there was 12 1/4 to 13 1/2 inches of ice off of the trail and the trail is thicker . Out in the lake it was 15 to 17 inches. There are a few thiner spots most of them are up to 12 inches. The last open water I saw was at 9 1/4 inches and there are some x’s around that. Tomorrow we are opening the road to 1/2 ton trucks not pulling wheel houses. You can pull wheel houses with small to mid size suv’s and small trucks. The trail is marked out to about 3 miles past pine island. I will let you know when there is another upgrade.

i was up there the 15 to the 20th and the thin spots i found were out in front of the big pine there was 10 – 12″ every where i drilled but around the big pine that had 2- 8″
